Romans 12:9-13

vs.9 Let love be without dissimulation (looked it up, means undisguised or sincere), Abhor that which is evil (another words dislike or have a horror of annoyances and hardships); cleave to that which is good (glue yourself to or fasten tightly to those things that are of good nature, useful, joyful, honorable).

vs.10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love, in honor preferring one another;

vs.11 Not slothful in business, fervent in spirit (had to look it up again and fervent means like boiling water!!  let your spirit bubble over ladies!!)  serving the Lord.

vs.12 Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation (and right there…thats what got me. patient – to remain, not recede or flee, to preserve, under misfortunes & trials, to hold fast to one’s faith in Christ, to endure, bear bravely & calmly), continuing instant in prayer (pray without ceasing).

vs.13 Distributing (fellowship with) to the necessity (need, duty or business) of saints, given to hospitality. (give, don’t walk but RUN to pursue love to strangers!)

Good Lord never promised life would be easy, but He did promise that He would never leave us nor forsake.  He is our refuge and strong tower, specially when we are going through the valleys. The same trials that we were just told to be patient in….He’s working on us….He’s working in us and through us!  We can call them “growing pains.” Just feels like they hurt a little worse now that we are adults, with little eyes watching us, forging through “bravely & calmly”, praying through each heavy, labored step all for His glory!  Don’t give up and please don’t give in!  Fellowship and lean on each other, run to those in need with kind words, a note, or simply a hug.   Know that there are others out there, “strangers,” going through the same thing and just maybe YOU are THEIR light!  Wrap your arms around yourself, right there, that is a hug from me to you!  May God bless each of you today!
