Ask Abby!

Concerned Friend from GA asks Abby:

“A friend of mine all of a sudden suffers from numbness in face and head and her legs tingle all the time.  What oils do I need to give her for nervous system support?”

Dear Concerned Friend,

If this were me, I would try Peppermint first.

If she purchases this for herself, it is an extremely versatile oil so she could use it for many other things (supporting the digestive system, supporting the nervous system, skin care, mental clarity and alertness).

If she doesn’t want to purchase her own bottle, I would make her up a sample in a glass jar of 1/2 cup coconut oil and 7-10 drops of Young Living peppermint. She can take that out and rub it directly on the places that she feels are tingling or feeling numb.

Of course, the beautiful thing about YL essential oils is that they are completely safe to take internally. If she wanted an added measure, she could always try adding 2-3 drops in a veggie capsule and take one each morning and each evening.
I would also suggest taking a Magnesium mineral supplement. That is the most lacking mineral most folks have. Approximately 56 percent of Americans are lacking enough magnesium, which is a mineral that is essential to many biological processes that occur in the body.  It is essential to build and strengthen your bones, keep your blood circulating smoothly, support your heart health and help you maintain proper muscle function. YL has a great supplement called Super Cal. We sometimes never know why our body starts showing sudden symptoms such as what your friend is experiencing. Symptoms are definitely a way our body communicates to us to tell us we NEED support for something. Magnesium won’t hurt her even if it doesn’t help with this problem.

YL also has an amazing superfruit supplement called Ningxia Red. It energies, fortifies, and revitalizes the body and mind. It is also packed full of antioxidants and other phytonutrients that never hurt a body that is trying to achieve optimum health, wellness, and balance.

I hope this helps. PS, if it does! Please let me know. If not, maybe we can try again!
